Upcoming Events
We organise several events throughout the year and so keep an eye on this page and on our Facebook page for updates about upcoming events! These include our Spring and Autumn Tea Dances, Summer Picnics and booked events.
Summer picnic - Newstead Abbey
Our annual summer picnic will take place again at Newstead Abbey on Sunday 10th August 2025. It is a great opportunity to bring family and friends and to have fun whilst enjoying the beautiful grounds of the Abbey.
Time: 11am start
Please meet at the front of the house for 11am, when we will walk around to our picnic area.
We will have some regency music and so may have a little dance or two, and some lawn games as well.
Whilst it would be lovely to see you in regency costume, they are not a requirement.
As this is a picnic, please bring your own food and something to sit on.
There is a car parking charge, payable at the entry gate. Entry to the house is extra and also payable on the day.
Please note: In the event of wet or extreme weather, the event will NOT go ahead.
